Somewhere After the Rainstorm.

Next Generation Arts is a non-profit branch of Make Drama Work. It was born in December 2009 to raise funds for the young Jewish community of Leeds and offer creative opportunities designed to bring them together. Their second annual Chanukah show, Somewhere After the Rainstorm has just taken its final bow with a big screen premiere and red carpet awards ceremony for its young stars.

Written and directed by Emma Gordon with co-production by Nicky Smith and Musical direction by Jonathan Sumroy, the show was a magical mélange of some of the most well-known and best-loved musicals, bringing some of our favourite characters together on a Chanukah mission.
The show was been a great success and Next Generation Arts was delighted to pour £1200 back into the community to be distributed between a variety of Youth projects.
